Officer John Perez

Officer John Perez was born in New York.
His parents are originally from Puerto Rico and dad was an officer for the NYPD.
Richmond, VA was supposed to be a “stepping stone” on his way to Florida professionally,
but he saw the need to serve the Richmond community on a more permanent basis.
So he stayed…

Officer Perez now serves Richmond via The Community Care Group of the Richmond Police Department.
People from the neighborhood call him “Perez” or sometimes “John” (which he says sounds weird when they do).
He wants others to know that cops aren’t robots and are doing a lot to serve the community that people never hear about.

If you see him around, ask him about his snakes and lizards.
Yep, he’s got a side passion for reptiles…
