Ollie

Ollie is five years old.
His dad is a nurse practitioner.
He taped plastic to separate the upstairs from the downstairs in their home.
And now Ollie’s dad stays downstairs in the basement to keep his family safe.
Ollie and his family have lived this way since the beginning of the pandemic.
They talk with each other through FaceTime, calls, and texts.
Mom’s baby shower was cancelled and they’re not sure when they can celebrate little June's arrival.
They’re concerned with the welfare of neighbors, family, friends, dad’s patients, and his coworkers.
Ollie and his family are heroes.
