Anna
“Anna’s song “Together We Are Enough” is an anthemic, joyous one that was written to not only honor the muse herself (Anna), but also those who have been touched and changed by her work (her patients), and her workplace that makes it all possible (Sheltering Arms). It is written from both her perspective and her patients’ perspective, giving it a certain unique flare. As a physical therapist working with patients who have been through traumatic brain injuries, Anna is literally making the impossible possible and shows just how incredible the human body and mind are by pushing her patients daily to reach limits and goals beyond their wildest dreams. Healing is possible, and while individually we can achieve great things, what I learned from Anna and her work is that collectively, we can do the seemingly impossible. Many of the lyrics from this song are direct quotes from Anna herself - she made writing this one so easy. Musically, I tried to capture her charisma, joy, and spirit. I hope this song not only accurately represents those it was written for, but also inspires others to not be afraid to ask for help and do the impossible together with the support of others.”
